Hello every body I am amy . I want to desige a model robot so called POSSILE. You know that , for the present more and more people such as my grandparents , due to my parents are busy with their own work and i have no enough time to look after them, but they are indeen need help. So I have such idea, first ,the robot is helpful for them. They could meet their general demand. Second, they could help parents to look after their house matter. Certainly , it could help me such as generall daily things. I think it is very useful for us.

Now I will introduce to you the advantages and disadvantages of robots. Robots can go to planets which are far away from the Earth. They can also spy on people in ways people can't move and from views humans can't reach. They can also go far down into the unknown waters where humans would be crushed. Giving us information that humans can't get is also one of the advantages. Robots Work at places all days and nights without any salary and food. They can perform tasks faster than humans and much more consistently and accurately. They can also capture moments just too fast for the human eye to get, for example the Atlas detector in the LHC project can capture about 600000 frames per second while we can see at about 60. Most of them are automatic so they can go around by themselves without any human interference. They can entertain us and help us in certain tasks.

However, every coin has two sides. There are also some disadvantages of robots. People can lose jobs in factories. It needs a supply of power. It also needs maintenance to keep it running. It costs money to make or buy a robot. Moreover, robots are not capable of performing task autonomously without guidance from humans. They require considerable human interaction to perform most scientific tasks. The creation of robots with humanlike cognitive abilities has not been achieved so far and it will continue to elude the scientific community for a long time. The abilities of robots are suitable only for simple reconnaissance or other activities in which no major difficulties are met. Although, robots are expendable relative to humans, but their cost can be very huge.
